(Faux) House of Harlow

Nicole Richie’s jewelry line House of Harlow is beautiful. It is very tribal inspired, but also has a geometric twist with the triangles on several of the pieces.

I saw these earrings at Forever 21 for $4.80

They looked very similar to a few of Ms. Ritchie’s pieces.

So I bought the knock offs from Forever 21. BIG mistake. They are heavy, and feel like doorknockers on my ears. The hook is difficult to fasten in the slot to keep them on your ears, and sometimes get stuck in the actual earring doorknocker piece. The post is a curved metal that is difficult to get through the ear piercing. Worst of all, they are uncomfortable and not very attractive on the ears.

 I didn’t look Nicole Richie boho chic, I just looked like an idiot who was wearing earrings that were too big.

Shell out the money for the originals/ use that $5 to buy some frozen yogurt.
